Karen Miller, a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) with over 33 years of experience. Her career spans the hotel and banking industries, as well as a CFO/Controller-for-hire firm, where she specialized in construction accounting. Since 2006, Karen has led numerous ERP implementations, including Viewpoint Vista, Sage Timberline, and Foundation. Through these projects, she identified a critical need for ongoing consulting and support in the ever-evolving field of construction technology.

In 2012, Karen shifted her focused primarily on Viewpoint Vista, earning certifications in Vista Accounting and Vista Operations, with plans to expand into Viewpoint HR Management, Financial Controls, Field Management, and Field Service. Her deep system expertise, combined with her extensive construction accounting experience, enables her to help clients maximize the value of their ERP systems. Karen's dedication to customer success and her calm approach to complex implementations have made her a trusted consultant, known for building lasting client relationships.

Reflecting on her journey with ConstrucTech Consulting, Karen shares, “I never imagined starting a new company at 52, but partnering with my long-time friend Jeff Johnson made perfect sense. He’s taught me so much—not just about Timberline, but also about being a patient and thorough teacher for our clients.”

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, and their three recently married sons. She feels incredibly blessed by her growing family and looks forward to the future. Karen also enjoys tailgating at LSU football games, gardening, and fitness training.
