Never miss a critical timecard response!

Fiddletree Timecard Notifications: Keeping Your Team Informed
Managing workforce safety and compliance just got easier with Fiddletree Systems Timecard Notifications. Integrated with the Vista Web Employee Portal Standard and Grid Timecard, this feature ensures that critical timecard responses—like meal break compliance and injury reports—don’t just sit in the system unnoticed. Instead, they now trigger notifications to designated recipients, keeping management informed in real time.
How It Works
Previously, questions answered on timecards were stored but not actively communicated to anyone. Now, thanks to the Fiddletree Timecard Notification feature, responses can be configured to notify the appropriate personnel via email. This means safety and compliance concerns can be addressed promptly without the risk of overlooked reports.
Customizable Timecard Submission Questions
Administrators can configure custom questions within the Employee Portal, such as:
- Were you injured? (Yes/No response)
- If yes, please enter the day, job, and details of the injury (Text response)

These questions are linked to automatic notifications, ensuring that responses from employees are immediately shared with key personnel.
Automated Email Alerts
When an employee submits a timecard indicating an injury, an automated email is sent to pre-defined recipients. This email includes:
- Employee details
- The submitted response
- A direct link to view the timecard in the Employee Portal
This real-time notification system ensures HR, payroll, or safety teams can take swift action when necessary.

SSRS Timecard Injury Audit Report
In addition to email alerts, all reported injuries are logged and accessible via an SSRS Timecard Injury Audit report. This report, installed directly in the portal, provides an easy-to-review summary of current and past injury submissions. Managers can filter reports by date and Company to track patterns and ensure compliance.
Why It Matters
By implementing Fiddletree Systems Timecard Notifications, companies can:
- Improve response times to workplace injuries
- Ensure compliance with labor and safety regulations
- Keep accurate, accessible records of reported incidents
- Proactively manage employee well-being

This enhancement transforms the way timecard submissions are handled, creating a proactive approach to workplace safety and compliance. If your company uses Vista Web Employee Portal, it’s time to upgrade your timecard system with Fiddletree Systems.
