Who else likes Free Customizations?

Ever wish you could grab a Vista developer by the ear and tell them that you need a particular feature because your business needs it, for free? Well, unlike most software's you can share and vote on ideas for software development using Trimble's Vista Suggestion Box. The Vista developers actually read the ideas and usually incorporate the most voted ideas into future versions.
Here's how to do it. From within Vista, look at the upper right corner and you'll see the Suggestion Box. Click it

You'll be taken to a website where other users like you make suggestions. You can search through suggestions, vote on suggestions, and even create your own suggestion. On this screen shot, I wanted to see what was planned by the developers for a future release and voted on it. Easy Peasy. From there you can copy the link and share it to anyone you know to vote on it. The more votes it gets, the more the developers will take notice.

At the bottom of the left column will have a login link if you haven't already logged in like I have. Give it a try and also peruse other sections. You might find an idea that you agree with and can vote on it.
Of course this is how to get Trimble/Viewpoint to create something in the software for everybody. If you have a specific business need or customization request then please give us a call. We have a wonderful Vista, SQL Server, SSRS, and Crystal development team that can customize just about anything you might need. Or perhaps you need advice on how to use Vista's out of the box functionality to accomplish your goal if it exists. We are here for you.
