Vista 2024 R1 is chock full of new features and bug fixes.  This link will take you to the official website chronicling all of the upcoming changes. What's New in Vista 2024 R1.  But, if you're like me and most folks, that's a lot of reading and we all have jobs to do.  So, I've put together a few highlights I found interesting to provide a broad overview of the new features coming.  Check out the link above for all the details.

Job Billing:  Ability to control who can change bills.

SM Sales Tax:  Sales tax has been revamped to handle the complex sales tax scenarios that Service Management often experiences.  (Highly recommend a review of this section if using SM Service Management)

HR Accidents:  Updated to handle new Osha Form 300 requirements

PR Standard Occupational Codes:  South Carolina requires SOC codes.  Vista now supports it.

PM/PS: ProjectSight and Vista now have tighter integrations.

Changes to Vista Tables and Columns:  With this major update there are quite a few database changes made.  This is of particular interest to the report writers on your team.

While we hope this curated list provides a brief overview of some of the enhancements coming in the new release, please take the time to review all of the changes coming.  Key to the success of any change is good communication.

Please reach out to us if you have any concerns with how this coming update might affect your customer reports and integrations.   Our team is ready to quickly assist with any needs.
